What are vehicle wraps?
A car wrap is a large vinyl graphic or decal, almost like a very big sticker that can be applied directly to all or some of the cars surfaces…
It can change the colour and entire look of a vehicle, or it can be used as a great way to advertise a business or brand. The finishes can range from satin, matte, metallic or gloss mimicking unique paint styles. It is 100% removable which is great for leased or owned vehicles.
How long does a vehicle wrap last?
A vinyl car wrap should last between 3-7 years depending on factors such as…

How is the price determined?

The colour of the vinyl you would like to use plays a part as well (some finishes cost more than others) and of course it is dependent on how much of the car do you want wrapped? do you want just a hood done in carbon fibre? or racing stripes? or the entire vehicle to change the entire look of the car! With all that in mind cars with complex designs that have more intricacy will cost more because more time will be spent on it. Other factors include the stock paint. If you have a white vehicle for example and wanted to do a full colour change to a matte black, there would need to be far more coverage with the wrap to ensure no white will show through small crevices through doors, hood etc.
What is the process?
A full detail of the vehicle is done to ensure there are no contaminants like dust, dirt or grime on the paint that can get ruin the adhesive of the wrap or show through…
After the wash and detail a full walk around is done to check on any damaged surfaces of the paint. Most damage will most likely show through the wrap and make it difficault to execute a clean proper installation. Minor scratches are usually not worry some unless they are very deep. After vehicle prep teardown begins, usually involving in removing any plastic trim pieces and side mirrors, bumpers etc. to achieve full coverage and a nice tuck of the vinyl to avoid any failure in the future!
